Côte by Dan Hobday looks across a rocky coastline beneath a broad, overcast sky, with deep blue water moving between dark stone outcrops. Soft gray, blue, cream, and muted brown run through the composition, with loose brushwork giving the sea and clouds a hazy, weathered quality. The darker rocks add weight to the foreground and give the whole piece a moody coastal atmosphere.

This is officially licensed artwork by Dan Hobday. Dan is a contemporary artist based in Devon, England, whose work often draws from landscape, coastline, and abstraction. Working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media, he simplifies natural forms into layered fields of color and texture, creating compositions that feel pared back but expressive.
