"Venice II" Art Print

Venice II by Hercules Brabazon Brabazon looks down a Venetian canal lined with sunlit buildings in soft peach, cream, and gold. Gondolas drift across the blue water, while the city narrows toward a hazy tower in the distance. The whole scene is painted in loose watercolor washes, with reflections flickering across the canal and the sky stretching pale and open above. 

Hercules Brabazon Brabazon was a British watercolorist born in Paris in 1821. He traveled widely through Europe, North Africa, and India, and became known for his loose, expressive handling of watercolor. He began exhibiting later in life and is especially remembered for atmospheric landscapes and travel views.
