Faster, Thinner Face Design
PXG Lightning Hybrids feature an advanced thinner face — 6% thinner than Black Ops — increasing face deflection by 3% at impact. This innovation boosts ball speed across the entire face, generating faster ball speeds and greater distance with every swing.
Consistency Meets Precision: Each loft is tuned with an optimized progressive face curvature that enhances accuracy on off-center hits.
High-Strength Carbon Fiber Crown
Lighter, Faster, and More Forgiving: A high-strength carbon fiber crown removes excess weight from the crown, redistributing mass low and around the perimeter. The result: a lower center of gravity, higher launch, improved stability, and greater forgiveness on every shot.
High MOI Squared Head Design
Confidence from Every Lie: The squared face design pushes mass to the extreme edges of the sole to increase moment of inertia (MOI) and reduce twisting at impact. The result is straighter shots, higher launch, and consistent distance, even when you miss the sweet spot.
Spined Sole Design
A reinforced Spined Sole minimizes unwanted vibration frequencies, improving energy transfer for faster ball speeds and pure sound. Every gram of weight works toward maximizing performance and confidence.
Precision Weighting Technology
PXG Lightning Hybrids feature three precision weight ports - two 2.5g weights and one heavy 12.5g weight - to fine-tune launch, spin, and shot bias. Fitters can reposition up to 20 grams of mass to shift CG location and dial in personalized flight characteristics.
Adjustable Hosel
Trajectory Control Made Simple: The adjustable hosel allows for easy loft and lie fine-tuning — letting fitters or players dial in trajectory and launch conditions for optimal performance.
